5 up-and-coming Adelaide Suburbs
Updated: Jan 26
Magill - larger blocks, good shopping, Magill Primary School zone.
A suburb with solid growth, near Norwood shopping precinct. Norwood Morialta High School is undergoing a $55 million upgrade compete in 2022.
Norwood - always a standout and currently one of Adleaide's premier shopping strips. Some of our favourite places are The Parade Thai, 400 Grande, Martini on the Parade & Argo on the Parade. There's Country Road, Seed, Trenery, Witchery, Sooki, Sportsgirl and many more. A new Raymin Wagu noodle soup bar opening soon looks interesting.
Henley Beach - one of the many local beach suburbs in Adelaide. A mixture or houses, apartments etc and a great place for breakfast and lunch. Try out the local surf club upstairs for lunch or dinner. My favourites are Stella for breakfast and in the evenings Bacchus Bar. The newest hot spot is Joes on the beach.
Henley also has great shopping in the Foodland Centre, is 15 minutes from the CBD and near Glenelg.
On the affordable side there is Aldinga Beach which is growing at a rapid rate and has some level of good government expedeture at the moment. There is a major new school under construction in 2020/2021. Drive access to one of the best beaches in SA and Mclaren Vales wineries. Check out Paxtons, Serafino and Hither & Yon. There is a wide range of housing, but its very competative at the moment.
Highbury - Straight up Lower North East road. Is suburb shwoing good growth at the moment. Plenty of parks and block sizes are generally large it represents good value for money.
